Google is arguably the greatest manner in which to find anything you want on the web.  Whether what is claimed by whatever author wrote the site you find is TRUE - or that they actually KNOW what they are talking about - or what you need  is not a question Google can actually answer well, BUT if you find consulting that actually can remotely and truthfully sort out the value - then you have got something.  That is what we do.  While we do not endorse nor control the ads which appear on any website, but we can tell you the value of an item once you have it for the purpose you intend to use it for if you are looking to on the fly Hydrogen power an engine of any type - lawfully.

Boxes or incomplete info, we need a street address, phone number and you will need to prove the vehicle is registered to you or your company and that you have authority to bind your company to this agreement.  You are shipped a book and you get a complete engineering setup for your application and consulting of two hours, after 30 days and there are no refunds.  We are the ONLY company in America, and as far as we know, right now the world, that offers lawful on the fly Hydrogen fueling for engines.  On January 26, 2009, the President of the United States, Barack Obama, issued an Executive Order for the EPA to reconsider, and basically grant some version of the Carbon Dioxide exemption emissions waiver requested by California - followed by 17 other states - and so it is a forgone conclusion, alternative bi-fueling will be allowed.  CARB - the California Air Resources Board has already granted an Exemption waiver for Hydrogen Bi-Fueling products.  The Bureau of Automotive Repairs (BAR) in California, is operating again and stands ready to inspect vehicles and grant BAR waivers for vehicles which are supplemental bi-fueled to meet the new California Greenhouse Gas law - also known as California Health and Safety (H&S) Code 38500 to 38599, and CARB has implemented the new Carbon Dioxide requirement limits as required by Law in January 2009 and CA H&S 38561. 


So we are clear - the law reads that it is unlawful for anyone to sell any product to anyone that is intended to defeat the emissions control system of a vehicle or regulated engine.  The law DOES not allow do it yourself modifications of any kind - PERIOD - or anyone to sell information or products for do it yourself tampering modifications - but it does allow that a manufacturer may assist you under law - and take responsibility for the modifications and maintain control of the adjustment of the modifications, for a complete system you may install yourself,  but may not sell instructions for do it yourself tampering.  The law DOES allow a manufacturer to sell you compliance parts which can achieve a parts waiver if the OEM emissions system is not defeated.   See CA Vehicle Code 27156(c) and http://www.epa.gov/Compliance/resources/policies/civil/caa/mobile/admem1a.pdf. (memo 1a)  It is likely the EPA will finally revise memo 1a - as promised in the memo, and at the very least, the Supreme Court has already reversed the Carbon Dioxide policies of the Bush EPA, ordering the EPA to consider Carbon Dioxide a true pollutant.  In
April 2007 in a decision that leads to the eventual regulation of carbon dioxide emitted by buildings and all Carbon Dioxide emitting apparatus, the U.S. the Supreme Court has ruled 5-4 that carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping emissions are “air pollutants” under the Clean Air Act, and that the U.S. government already has authority to start curbing them.

The Supreme Court’s decision, in Massachusetts v. EPA, was a blow to the Bush Administration, which has fought against regulating carbon dioxide.  Now the Obama Administration has issued and Executive Order to get moving on complying with the court's order and California's request. Scientifically, there are few ways to do this inexpensively or feasibly without the use of Hydrogen as a bi-fuel with Hydrocarbon fuels or by using Hydrogen itself as a straight fuel.  what is offered here has already been proven by other companies in the Industry - this is NOT a "try it out thing" or an experimental product.  It works and it is ready - if you are thinking let me try this - or experiment - or you want to tinker  and understand - forget it - move on and don't buy here.  If you do not understand this above - forget it all - this page is not here to argue the law. It is what is it, and for good enough reason.

Vehicle "Conversions" and "Conversion Kits" are unlawful unless EPA or CARB approved, HOWEVER, supplemental fueling system additions ARE lawful so long as they comply with law and do not worsen the emissions and work "seamlessly" with the OEM OBD system as this one does.  This is a very important distinction that allows this to be a lawful  implementation without CARB or EPA approval so long as it is inspected and found to comply with that above after installation and certified to operate again on the road.  In California this called the "referee" program and it makes your vehicle then lawful.  This product was designed to be marketed to meet OEM manufacturer and conversion standards.  It will work on Stationary or vehicle or mobile engines both gas and diesel.  It will however HAVE to be installed according to our STRICT installation directions for YOUR specific application, and fueling scenario, and most every ad on this page is relevant to doing this - we just have the secret on how to put it all together to work - and work lawfully - even on newer vehicles.

It's time for some straight, scientific, truthful talk about rising Gas Prices and how to save money on your vehicular transportation or other stationary engine operation.  It does not matter if the engine is Gas or Diesel powered, though the implementation is a bit different for each.  LOTS of homemade "hobbyist" Hydrogen Generators are appearing everywhere and are all being passed off by various names.  Most all of them will either fail or be ineffective in relation to their size within six months or less. NONE of them will work for long.  You see electrolysis works by the same process also known as "electroplating" and in that process unless the design is proper to an electrically neutral design, electrical erosion occurs on the electrodes, the same way the chrome leaves one electrode and moves to the bumper you are "electro" plating.  "Google" how electroplating works if you do not believe. Hydrogen collects and is released at the negative side of the electrolysis equation and so does the metal in electroplating.

lpg_mixerWe have been working with on the fly Hydrogen bi fueling as a form of powering vehicles since 1973 and have worked with alternative fueling using CNG and Propane.  Several patents are pending on several items.  Our lead person studied Chemistry and Technical Aeronautics beginning with an immersion program in a Technical and Trade High School; graduating way back in 1973, so this system has a history doing this for a while with vehicles - then studied Engineering and Law in college. We have been at this way longer than most people have ever thought of this as a viable use in vehicles until fuel prices went out of our world or have hung out on a "newsgroup" to learn how to make a simple hydrogen generator that is going to last maybe six months if that; and not reliably.

<<== THE OLD WAY TO PROPANE OR CNG POWER A VEHICLE (NOT LEGAL TODAY)

We currently work a dual ECM (OEM ECM and with also a Custom ECM) twin turbocharged GM Small Block V 8 fuel injected variable boost (up to 29 psi), vehicle which runs on Ethanol, CNG, Propane, Gasoline and any mix thereof on the fly and/or a combination of Propane and Hydrogen a gas mixture commercially known by the trade name "Hythane".  It is completely street legal and has 2001 legal emission limits though it is exempt from emissions testing.  It has lots of horsepower, but that is not why I built the engine system in it.  If you know anything truly about Gasoline powered vehicles you would immediately know why.  We can tell you a lot of engineering related reasons why the automakers are shy to adopt an on the fly Hydrogen powered vehicle, but we'll give you hint that Ford's upcoming "Eco Boost" engine is a BIG leap to towards being able to run a small OEM engine easily switching it to Hydrogen for fueling.  Ford is leading the way with Hydrogen powered Internal Combustion Engine technology and has a V 10 Triton hydrogen production engine right now they put in Airport Shuttle buses where Ultra Low
bat Emission engines are a requirement.  GM is running behind and just announced they were going to close plants because they are now just seeing the light and do not have a replacement for the GM V8 to answer high fuel use.  It is not that you can't get a Chevy 305 to 350 (5.0 to 5.7 liter)  to run on Hydrogen it is just that it will consume a lot of fuel per hour in so doing and must be a boosted (turbo or super charged) engine to use the fuel.  There's no space on most vehicles for the support systems to do that. 

IT WAS ONCE A SIMPLE UN COMPLICATED WAY TO GET THIS WORK "BEFORE"==>>

One can get sort of irritated at all the parties selling something they found on a Yahoo newsgroup like they know what they are doing and now they are running an "energy business".   First the products they are selling are illegal, and second for what you pay, the return on investment (ROI) is not going to be worth the trouble AND you will end up with repair or parts costs that may well hurt.  Third if they are not complying with the FTC requirements on sales of "Energy and Fuel Saving Devices" for vehicles; they are in violation of law.  So let's me do some "Myth busting"

 POWERING A VEHICLE IS A "BTU" EQUATION AND NOT MUCH MORE

Let's talk about a basic unfaltering, unwaivering rule of physics.  Transportation ALL transportation is a BTU (a.k.a calorie) equation.  That is to say, it is going to take a given
amount of energy to move any item of a given weight over a fixed distance.  In people we measure this in calories burned when we are trying to loose weight usually.  It takes more energy to move an obese person walking or running than a small child uses running about.   In vehicles we call it "miles per gallon" which is a fancy way to say that Gasoline is about 130,000 BTU per gallon, so it takes XX amount of BTU to propel an average 3,000 pound vehicle so many miles down a road.  (More going uphill and into the wind, less going down or sailing with your back to the wind) This reality as a mathematics equation will not change and you cannot change the eco boostdollars per gallon equation unless you are buying or using a substantially cheaper fuel of some kind or of higher energy content that the vehicle is designed to, and can run on.  That "cheaper fuel" would be Hydrogen made on the fly AND properly metered for the engine to use so as to NOT increase emissions.  It is only legal to do if you do not tamper with, modify or defeat the OEM emission control system AND your efforts whatever they are do not increase the emissions from what they were from the OEM version of the vehicle.  Otherwise it is illegal no matter what you might think.  They are have an educational value - and if you are experimenting - select anyone of the cheapest solutions you can find.

EcoBoost "affordable engine technology" uses gasoline turbocharged direct injection to improve fuel economy and cut emissions. It's a high volume solution to rising CAFE standards and will be on a half million Ford and Lincoln products by 2013. (Photo left above courtesy of Ford Motor Company)  It is basically the design of a Diesel engine with a spark plug and that is the design of which what a Hydrogen fueled engine needs to safely run.  It can be high compression and directly inject Hydrogen so the intake and crankcase fires will be minimized.  Yes you read correctly, Intake and Crankcase ONGOING fires.  It shows up on a V 8 as a big "coke" pile up of crusty burned oil in the lifter valley and it only takes a few months to get there.  And we mean a sizable one like full.  It won't stop the engine from operating or being lubricated, but it is a nasty problem.  Hydrogen gets past rings easily into the crankcase.  If anyone had really any experience in this field with building and tear down of Hydrogen powered engines, they would be able to tell you that and know about it.  We do.

PEOPLE CANNOT JUST MAKE UP SCIENCE NOTATION BUT ON THE INTERNET, GEE, THEY CERTAINLY DO

That  being said, let's jump to the issue of the so called "HHO" generators everyone is calling a new discovery and selling.  These are simple mixed gas non metered free flow Hydrogen Generators.  They feed gas like a rock on an accelerator pedal, but do not make enough gas to really harm engine acceleration or idle speed.   Can you figure out what is wrong with that picture?  Exactly they do not make enough gas to be meaningful to power a vehicle.  First there is no such thing as "HHO" as a chemical molecule.  Hydrogen is a diatomic element meaning it always occurs commonly in nature in pairs anyone with an education in chemistry and good sense knows Hydrogen is always written H2   
True, it is represented by the symbol H., but since it is diatomic is always written H2.  At standard temperature and pressure, hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, nonmetallic, tasteless, highly flammable BUT diatomic gas with the molecular formula written as H2.  This is how you will find it notated on EVERY periodic table of the elements.  These are thus H2 and O2 generators NOT "HHO".  2H2O(aq) → 2H2(g) + O2(g)

A monotonic element of Hydrogen does not exist in nature thus HHO is just some "Yahoo's" writing of something that was repeated from some other "Yahoo" who did not know what they were talking about.  There are two states of diatomic Hydrogen para and ortho but that is not relevant here.  There is a version of Hydrogen that is called Heavy hydrogen,
also known as Deuterium and occurs in trace amounts naturally as deuterium gas, written ²H2 or D2 and it is actually so unstable you will not find it easily on Earth naturally occurring.  Deuterium is frequently represented by the chemical symbol D. Since it is an isotope of hydrogen with mass number 2, it is also represented by ²H.  Deuterium occurs in trace amounts naturally as deuterium gas, written ²H2 or D2, but its most natural occurrence in thebat universe is bonded with a typical ¹H atom, a gas called hydrogen deuteride (HD or ¹H²H).   The science community allows notation of it as both D and ²H, although ²H is preferred.  This is written this so you can see where the notation "HHO" likely was invented from is NOT the same as ¹H²H.  In science and chemistry, there is no such thing as "HHO".  It is something someone spoke out to in an email to describe the separation of water H2O from a liquid into H2 and O2 as gases and the email did not support the superscripts so they got dropped.  2H2O(aq) → 2H2(g) + O2(g)

FORD'S FULLY HYDROGEN POWERED SHUTTLE BUS ==>>

We write this to make clear that certain elements in nature MUST behave in certain ways, and that is just that. 
H2O that is "water" as a liquid is not flammable, but separated H2 is highly flammable in the presence of O2 that which you just made separated them from each other. Both are unstable in that form and have a desire to re bond into the more stable form we know of as "water".  Add a little heat or spark and val la they will recombine releasing much more energy as heat in the process.  Hence the "HHO" generators are all dangerous if the gas is under pressure or there is space for it to congregate under pressure.  The slightest heat, spark or static electricity charge will set off the gas if it is combined or has space to light off and it has Oxygen in it.

PROPERLY RUNNING AN ENGINE ON HYDROGEN

Why write this?  Well because it is to prove that separated gas generators are much safer and the way to go when one has to operate a fuel injection system that must be under pressure for the injector(s) to work.  They are also more expensive and harder to build but they are needed for true custom fuel injection systems that I make and that todays engines require to truly work with the Engine Control Module or Unit (ECM or ECU) and thus to be LEGAL.  We have found no one that makes and sells one but us.  The other thing is that the ideal air fuel ratio for Hydrogen is 32 to 34 to 1.  No oxygen sensor can really accurately read that with Hydrogen and almost no ECM or ECU is ready to control an engine in that air fuel ratio range.  The range is 14.7 to 1 for gasoline.  You will need a custom ECM/ECU programed properly to let the engine run legally and properly on Hydrogen truly.  There are legal ways to do all of this, and cheaper than you think that many people are paying for just ONE of these Internet copy "HHO" generator units today.



Here this is the real deal -  NOT a "booster" or "HHO" generator, and even Ford has a Production vehicle that runs fully on Hydrogen in an Internal Combustion Engine.  You can now do it too with a supplemental fueling system for Hydrogen just like they have.  Hydrogen can be run at 18 psi easily and safely.  Ford has done it in a production E 450 shuttle bus vehicle and a TRI FLEX FUELED concept vehicle they call the Super Chief.  They use tanked Hydrogen and we use on the fly made Hydrogen.   The Hydrogen generator systems than can do this are not for sale to the general public from us, but if you are a smart person you can build your own if you are handy enough to know vehicles and ECM's well enough

really understand what this is all about.   You need a really good Hydrogen Generator and electrical generation and distribution system.  Our specially built  GM alternators put out over 500 amps under load.  A Hydrogen system is NOT what is for sale here but if you wanted to run your vehicle on a straight water based fuel stock with a proper sized and designed Hydrogen Generator or license one from us this is the way to start.

In the Ford system a Supercharger provides an 18 psi boost for hydrogen fuel only. When running on hydrogen, the supercharged V 10 provides up to 12% fuel economy improvement on an energy equivalent basis versus a non supercharged gasoline V 10. In addition, when operating on hydrogen, the Tri Flex V 10 generates 99% less CO2 emissions than when running on gasoline.

The engine features a dual injection system: one handling gasoline and E85, the other fuels the hydrogen. The F 250 Super Chief stores 11.2 kg of hydrogen in a 700 bar tank system.  700 bar by the way is 10,000 psi.  We build systems like this without the tanks.

No one else offers you all the things you need to get this job done lawfully.    If you follow the instructions you will have a completely street legal twin turbocharged vehicle even in California if it is a 1995 or under.  Here's why:

In 1997, California's smog law was changed to the "30 year rolling window" that exempted cars older than 30 years from being smogged. It was called SB42, and that only lasted a few years. A few years later, a new bill was written to change it back to a fixed date, and was piggy backed onto a bill about carpool lanes, and the "Governator" signed it. California's Smog Check website spells it out clearly:

Beginning January 1, 2005, vehicles 6 or less model years old are exempt from the biennial Smog Check inspection requirement. For vehicles with registration renewals due in the 2006 calendar year, this exemption includes model years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Beginning January 1, 2005, vehicles 4 or less model years old are exempt from the Smog Check inspection requirement upon change of ownership and transfer of title transactions with DMV. In 2006, this exemption includes model years 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Beginning April 1, 2005, the 30 year rolling exemption has been repealed. Instead, vehicles ONLY 1975 model year and older will be exempt. Therefore, 1976 model year and newer vehicles will continue to be subject to biennial inspection indefinitely.

This summary of the law shows that only a vehicle 1975 or older which is usually carbureted anyway can be built and modified anyway the owner desires as to fueling.  The end result again is that all other vehicles fall under the anti tampering provisions of the Clean Air Act, and that again still means we can only license and not sell our fueling systems.  Anyone else doing otherwise and there are lots of them without a waiver is breaking the law. We will not do that for you or to you.  In California certain municipalities seize the car give you a short time to return it to stock OEM or they will crush it at a bone yard.  THUS, you can do this tri fuel concept LEGALLY on your engine today. Consulting on how to get it done is available for an additional fee.  That is why we do not sell Hydrogen fueling systems to the General public, but we can help you get there.

In California this kind of system is certified by a referee.  Referee Centers are located primarily at California Community Colleges throughout the state.  Now most people are not going to read this far unless you are really serious about saving fuel the only way to do that is to MAKE IT on the fly.  That's what we do

WHY DO IT THIS WAY?

Well, because there is no "one size fits all" when building and troubleshooting gaseous gas fuel injection systems and modifications to them.  When bi fueling a vehicle or stationary engine, the only lawful way to do it is with a closed loop ECM / ECU type system that does not tamper with or defeat the existing OEM system.   This is why there is CARB and the EPA (the mixer above on the carburetor is an example of what is NOT a closed loop system) to make sure an item is initially manufactured in an acceptable air quality emission standard.  The law however while has not changed does allow alternative fueling of engines ONLY if OEM emissions do not increase and you can prove it as so.  These "HHO" generators often and can only increase emissions because they are not "closed loop systems" hence all the unlawful products designed behind them to defeat and "trick" the Oxygen sensor's duty and role.  This is what makes them unlawful.   However efforts made which do not defeat the vehicle's set emissions standard or tamper with the OEM emissions system are allowed.  This is a feature in the law commonly known as the California Greenhouse Gas emission law which came into existence in 2006 as an Executive Order by Gov. Schwarzenegger and is honored by all CA State agencies and not challenged anymore by the US EPA or any states nationwide as far is known.
